Beautification Awards Program

The Annual Beautification Awards program is designed to recognize and honor all who have made a substantial contribution through clean up and beautification activities and projects in Genesee County.

Each year there are thousands of people who clean up trash and litter, paint over graffiti and plant beautiful flowers and each year we see improvements in local neighborhoods and on city and county streets where someone has made a difference.

Awards are given out in seven specific areas:
The Leadership Award is presented to an individual of any age demonstrating outstanding personal leadership in the cleaning and/or beautification of Genesee County.

The Business Award is presented to the private business or corporation making a substantial contribution to the cleaning and/or beautification of Genesee County and leads by example on their own site.

The Governmental Award is presented to a governmental body making a substantial contribution to the cleaning and/or beautification of Genesee County.

The Organization Award is presented to the non-profit, school, church or other entity making a substantial contribution to the cleaning and/or beautification of Genesee County.

The Beautification Award is presented to an entity or individual making a substantial contribution to the beautification of Genesee County.

The Neighborhood Award is presented to neighborhoods who achieved the most impressive results in cleaning and beautifying their community.

The Tall Oak Award is presented to the entity or individual making the greatest contribution to the cleaning and beautification of Genesee County.
